Hi All,
Just got my new Hale yesterday. It is great!
Ok, here it is from Hale:
Varicella Virus Vaccine
...The Oka/Merk strain used in the vaccine is attenuated by passage in human
and embryonic pig cell cultures. Because it is a live strain, it is highly
likely that transfer into human milk will occur although there are no
reports yet available. Transmission of the vaccine virus from healthy
vaccines to others should be considered possible, although none has yet been
reported. Mothers of immunodeficient infants should not breastfeed
following use of this vaccine.
Pediatric concerns: None reported via milk, but no studies are available.
Immunocompromised infants should not be exposed to this product.
Hope this helps!
