Ooooh, how wonderful that this simple little log is getting around. Since
no one seems to know what "normal" is, its "one on day on, two on day two"
approach seems fully appropriate. Especially since its recommended
"intervention" is simply making contact with someone knowledgeable about
breastfeeding.

I made one change on the copy I distribute: from "It is OK for your baby
to have more wet diapers or more soiled diapers. Call your breastfeeding
helper if your baby has less than the number on the log" to "It's OK for
your baby to nurse more than 12 times each day, or to have more wet
diapers or soiled diapers. You can't nurse too often. You CAN nurse too
little. Call if you have fewer than the numbers on the log." I couldn't
bear the thought of mothers trying to hold their babies to 12 nursings max.

Great log. Do check it out!
