This is for Jan, cabbage queen -

Will spare you all from listing the known phytochemical constituents list for
cabbage as the list is over 200.

Keeping in mind my quite limited knowledge of phytochemistry, the only
steroidal compounds I can find in reading Jim Duke's list for cabbage are
"phytosterols 110-1471 ppm - leaf" ( a small amount), and "beta sitosterol -
leaf" (no amount measured). Beta sitosterol is ubiquitous and mostly
unquantified for most plants.

To view the phytoconstituent list yourself, go to Jim's website ( Father
Nature's Farmacy) - also has separate lists showing published pharmacological
activities for phytochemicals, and ethnobotanical uses, with references.
