Is there any evidence showing a hospital/physician/facility's use of banked
milk increases breastfeeding rates?

I'd like to think that when health professionals recommend donor milk for
infants, it causes mothers and others to realize how important it is and
that translates into greater initiation and duration rates.

The Schandler study appears to be pushing our professionals here away from
donor milk and towards increasing efforts to use mother's own milk. Not that
the latter isn't important, but I see donor milk as part of the solution.
