Does anyone know anything about the origin of Pablum? A friend
remembers hearing that it was initially created by a vet. All I can
recall is that it was created in Toronto near the beginning of the
century. This friend has an MD in her prenatal class who doesn't
understand why processed cereals are not the perfect food for
infants. She mentioned the veterinary origins but now doesn't have
any info to back up the claim.

Anyone have any written sources about this product's origins?

TIA.
