shot during pregnancy (at least the first one).  I am Rh negative and didn't
get any shots at all because my son turned out to be Rh neg too. How come
procedures differ in different countries?"
I don't know the science behind this, but I do know that the anti-D is not
required during the first pregnancy. Only subsequent pregnancies are
affected by the production of anti-bodies.
