What an impact the AAP statement on pacifiers has had - yesterday, a local
Wal-Mart sold out completely. I am told the infant department manager was
actually chewed out by a disappointed customer who arrived at the store
after the last binkie had left the building.

Imagine if the AAP had stated that breastfeeding reduces SIDS. What impact
might that have had?
