I am aware of this AAP paper and have actually spoken to the person who 
wrote this paper, Dr. Tina Smillie, in CT.  However, we have yet to implement 
any of these codes in our office.  Have you used them and if so, are you 
getting reimbursed.  I can't seem to find anyone who is using these codes.  If 
you are familiar with the codes at all, most lc's I speak with are having to use 
a 99211 for a visit, which probably does not get a good reimbursement.  I am 
wondering what the difference in pay would be for a 99213 or 99214??  Also, 
there is a section on the paper for the timed visits with individuals following up 
on a problem that has already diagnosed.  Are you familiar with this?  Most of 
the time, I find dr.'s want someone, ie. lacation consultant, who is going to be 
able to come in and see a patient for a diagnosed problem, without them 
having to see the patient and get paid.  Can anyone elaborate on this.
