I am an IBCLC at a Children's Hospital that has a fairly new lactation
program. We are trying to do follow-up phone calls after infants go home to
determine if these babies are still receiving human milk. We are trying to
gather data to support our cause of needing more help. Our legal department
told us that we need a special consent signed to legally call these moms at
home after discharge. Has anyone encountered this problem or how do you
handle it?
