Recently we have had two cases of Erb's palsy - one with a fracture of the
clavicle as well.  In both cases it seems to me that the baby experiences
severe pain - at least in the first 24 - 48 hours.  Nobody else seems to
think so.  No analgesia is given.  Both babies had a disorganised suck.  I
don't have much experience with this and would like to know more about the
pain issue.  Many thanks.
