I think that if the immune system in formula-fed and breastfed children was 
exactly the same at 2 months, that the risk of infection would have to be the 
same as well.  I don't think that you need research proving the development of 
the immune system, you just need research showing that the risk of infection 
is reduced in breastfed kids.  That shouldn't take much googling at all...just 
give him a copy of the AAP policy statement on breastfeeding.
