I face my 39th birthday on Sunday and it's going to be a hard one. Over the
last 3 years I have been in and out of surgery and body casts. But the last 7
months have been the worst.  I have basically been confined to bed since
Thanksgiving of last year and I have been unable to do my LC job.  My
situation makes me feel isolated and depressed on occasion. But everyday I
look forward to getting and reading the lactnet mail.  It makes me feel like
I'm a part of the outside word again. And I have learned a lot. It may have
even kept me sane: well, sane for me anyway   ; ).
Thanks to both Kathleens for starting and maintaining the Lactnet and to all
of you who daily come into my home to share and support.
