Can anyone shed light on what it's like for moms to breastfeed when they do
not have ovaries and become pregnant by IVF?

The mom I am working with is otherwise healthy. Her doctors are unable to
give her definitive information on what not having estrogen and
progesterone will do to her milk supply. She will not take hormone
replacement after the birth. Previously mom had children and breastfed
successfully when her ovaries were intact, and she had a good supply
bordering on over-supply.

Any studies or antecdotal stories or even sound postulations welcome.

thank you,
Nicole Peluso, IBCLC
