AMEN, AMEN, AMEN

Its 1:04am,  my husbands in bed and the children too, so what am i doing,
still up with lactnet, talking to all of you.


My  wonderful 8 year old has made it her passion to start pointing out when
women are doing the right thing (guess??) and asking (very loudly) why isn't
that mommy breastfeeding her baby instead of giving a bottle (maybe it had
mumma nummas in it?).
We are working on tactfullness and explaining why not everyone thinks like
her mom (even if we know we're right.)  Sometimes i think i will make a tee
shirt that says "breastfeeding expert, in training" with an arrow pointing to
my right, (always her favorite side). I will really miss these days, she
still thinks its cool to hold mom's hand in public and snuggle in my lap

Looking for many more teachable moments  in the future.
