USDA's Maternal Child Health Bureau, USDA/WIC and HRSA funded the development
of a Breastfeeding Support Kit for Physicians and Healthcare Providers.  The
kit is distributed by Best Start.  This kit consists of 7 pieces,  several
pieces are for the MD or HCP to give to the patient.  The kit includes a
pocket reference guide, a National Resource Guide (US), a policy pamphlet on
how to have a breastfeeding friendly office, and several pieces for the MD to
give to his patient.  This kit was peer reviewed by MD's, LLL, nurses,
midwives, pediatric nurse practioners, LC's, and pretested with patients and
professionals to be sure that the pieces are appropriate for each group.  I
hope that this doesn't come across as advertising, I mean it to be
informational.  This is a very new piece, just out for the last 8 weeks, and
many have not seen it yet.  Please call me for more information.
