Contact Diane Spatz at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  She is using 
this "premie" system.  Premie Pattern gets more out at initial pumpings and 
subsequent increase in collection of colostrum, then once mothera are 
producing 20 mls/session or 320 mls/day, switch to2 phase technology (it is 
a special premie pattern pump)..  Infants have 2 phases of suckling, 
Stimulation and Expression.  (these were some quotes from her course book) I 
know we aren't supposed to advertize on Lactnet, but this was one of the 
most impressive days I've ever spent learning.  Diane is so gifted.  Every 
LC, NICU nurse or maternity nurse should take this class! (next one is March 
21)
