Anyone know how DPT is made?  Of course, there are a number of other vaccines
given at 4 months too -- though I don't remember them all.  But that's an
excellent suggestion.  The mom's description of the diarrhea put me in mind
of some sort of damage to the brush borders of the gut, but I just wasn't
sure what it was.

The Pertussis portion of the vaccine is prepared in a hydrolyzed form of
casein.  The reaction could be severe milk allergy.
