I've written before about one of my granddaughters who was extremely slow to
take solids and when she did she took a very limited array(between 14 mo and
24 mo).  She had eczema and the asthma finally showed up around 6 years of
age.  I've always thought that she was smarter than those of us shoving food
at her.  She knew she was allergic and did the right thing, nursed, nursed,
nursed :-)  Since she was her mama's 4th child mom didn't push, just let her
