HI All,
Well, still haven't figured out what is causing the large amounts of
spitting (and major episode of vomiting last night). I have gone so far as
to call my pharmacy to see if there is any whey in the antibiotic I am
taking. (Amoxicillin 500mg) They couldn't tell me what the inert
ingredients were in the capsule, but said that it was prob'ly all amoxicillan.
Anyway, an "it figures" sidenote:
My dear hubby went to the store this morning to get fixins for Mother's Day
brunch. Came home with some non-dairy creamer for my coffee. He didn't pay
attention to what brand he bought and ended up getting (ACK!) Carnation. I
read the ingredients (as a lark) and guess what their NON-DAIRY creamer has
in it? Sodium Caseinate (a milk derivitive). Please, in my book a milk
derivitive is still dairy, especially for those of us who can have NO dairy
of any kind.
Well, if they can break the WHO code and say they don't, then I guess they
can call a creamer with a dairy derivitive in it non-dairy. A wolf in
sheeps clothing is still a wolf...
