Patricia,
Could the toddler take diflucan for a quicker cure? Acetaminophen or
ibuprofen (peds form) for pain? Maybe a cold popsicle prior to offering the
breast? Could she use some type of anesthetic in mouth? Lidocaine I think is
available in some form, to use on mucus memb. The one I have used tastes
awful, and I don't know if kiddies can use it.  Maybe Dr. Hale can help.
