YES!!!  This is exactly why I prefer the term nipple confusion. Both
preference and aversion seem to convey some rationalized choice on a tiny
newborn's part that might whack at the confidence of the mother.

I don't ever portray nipple confusion as something that cannot be conquered.
Some cases take a great deal more patience and perseverance than others, and
even may require mom to be a great actress and pretend as if it doesn't
bother her during feeding.....humming or gently singing instead of getting
more and more worked up over it.
