Vitamin B6 decreases the response, and renders most mothers pain free. 150
mg daily (as one dose) for 4 days dropping to 25 mg daily after that often
does the trick.

If not, nifedipine, slow release, 30 mg daily will usually prevent pain.

There may be some hormonal thing with Raynaud's, because the vast majority
of people who have it of their toes and fingers are women.  I don't think
there is any breastfeeding related hormonal association.
