Hi

We also rent the Medela pumps and our contract says that we agree not to
rent any other brand than Medela, we are forbidden by contract to do this,
do you have a copy of your contract if Medela? If not get it and read it
ASAP!

I would NOT ever mix pumping parts from pump to pump, the ones from Ameda
are just for Medela ones and the ones for Egnell are just for them. You
could get into a lawsuit doing this especially if someone is injured.

Your post said that you substitute kits when the Medela ones are not
clean?????? Every patient should have their own NEW kit..... are you reusing
them?

Ameda Egnell is now owned by the Hollister company. I have no experience
with their pumps but several years with Medela and have always been happy
with the pumps and the service. I am Laos on a pumping moms e mail list,
and moms of the moms have positive comments about both pumps, but it looks
like more moms use Medela tha Ameda.

Good luck and let us know how this turns out.
