I remember my husband using ours to grind pine nuts for pesto once when it
was done serving as a grinder for the baby's food. I remember it being
compact to store and easy to clean, especially relative to an electric
gadget (I hate how I can't just immerse the whole appliance to get it really
clean!)

I used it a lot for my first and I'm not sure that I did at all for my
second as I was onto the ease of waiting until they are really ready to eat
and then offering small pieces of what the family's eating.
