Here is one suggestion I like to give new moms who feel family members are giving too much non-supportive advice.  Assume they really have your and your baby's best interests at heart, but just don't understand why you are doing what you are doing.  They want to feel that their input is valued.  So, ask them for advice on something not related to feeding such as ways to fold cloth diapers ( if you're using the old fashioned kind), what laundry soap is likely to work best and not irritate baby's delicate skin, etc.  Do this even if you don't feel the need for such information.  When they see that you are not totally rejecting any imput they have, perhaps they will back off a bit on the feeding "advice".  It may not always work, but it's worth a try.
