There seems to be confusion about my post about the mom with "adrenal
exhaustion" wanting to wean. It is not that she is tired and exhausted
and wants to quit and is blaming nursing for her exhaustion. "Adrenal
exhaustion" is a condition of the adreneal gland in response to prolonged
biological stress. She has had many medical problems and has nursed for
18 months. She wants to wean and had asked if a supplementer device could
be used to help weaning. That was the original question that some of us
seem to have lost track of. I did get a nice private response from
Lact-Aid explaining that other women have also asked this question but
that the device would probably increase a supply instead and there are
many oher measures to accomplish a tender gradual weaning.
