You asked if anyone outside of lactation circles was familiar with cabage use
for swelling.  A few months past at a Toastmaster's meeting an old Russian
doctor gave a speech on old folk remedies including cabbage for swelling.
When he asked if anybody else had heard about that I shared how we used it
regularly to reduce swelling from breast  engorgement.  He agreed. Alot of
people learned more than they had anticipated (maybe more than they wanted to
know) and the doctor and I had a nice chat afterwards.  Glad Scott's okay!
