<<I think a man invented the underwire bra. >>
Just watched a show on the history of underwear (OK I'm stuck in bed and I'm
bored) The under wire bra and the bra as we know it today were invented by
Howard Hughes for Jane Russell. It was based on the canteliever (sp?) bridge.
Apparently he didn't like the way Ms. Russell looked in some of the clothing
for a movie.
The show also said that 80% of women buy their bras too small and had a
fitting instruction session.
A bit of trivia for the day
Marie
