about thirteen years ago i met a very young mother who lived with her mother,
who kept the baby while the mother worked (dire financial straits). the baby
would not take a bottle of expressed milk so the grandmother fed the baby at
her breast with a tube feeding device. i am still impressed. my mother would
probably volunteer to do that for just about anyone, i must add.
