Last spring we had a wonderful young pre-med student who did an internship
with our (WIC) agency. She did a limited research project to determine the
best way to use our time with each patient to promote breastfeeding. She
called me today to ask if I could help her with an idea she has to do a
similar project in Europe (or anywhere outside of the US).

She can request funds from her school in order for her to travel. She
would like to go somewhere and do a research project-which will be funded
by her school-that has something to do with breastfeeding. She asked me to
write to all of you to see if anyone has any ideas for either topics to
study or organizations that might point her in the right direction. She
would like to go somewhere where her she can really make a difference. I
told her to contact UNICEF--any other ideas? Didn't we have someone on
this list who was involved WHO? Any ideas would be welcome.

Please email me privately.
