Drug: Flonase (fluticasone proprionate) nasal spray, .05% dose 2 squirts in
each nostril once a day. A glucocorticoid. Doc says it's safe for a bf mom
of a 15 mo. old baby who nurses quite a bit. Pharmacist's insert (not mfr's)
says: "This medication appears in breast milk. Breast-feeding is not
recommended while using this medication."(from First Data Bank- the Hearst
Corp.). Package insert mentions growth suppression in children if taken for
a long time, and says caution should be used in bf mothers.

Is this drug okay to use or not? Symptoms are not severe but bothersome; mom
feels much better when using the drug but is of course concerned.
