 Tina:  PLEASE don't let them hit the panic button on this baby.  He's
probably exhausted and just recovering.  Has the mom been taught  Dr.
Jack's breast  compression technique?  I'd highly recommend this.  My
experience with sleepy babies like this is that they need time--and yes,
they may lose up to 10% of bw--but the bottles will just muk up the
process.  If he's looking dehydrated, get brst milk in him via cup, finger,
or SNS, but I don't think you're at that point.  As for waking him, most
baby environments are too warm and babies are overdressed.  How about
getting baby naked for an almond oil infant massage?  Also, was this mom
given Mag sulfate?  Many cases of sleepy baby go back to this.
