Since I didn't have time to have a farewell party for my uterus, instead I am having a potluck wake at the hospital, starting Friday late afternoon, and continuing at least through Monday noon (paying heed to visiting hours for those who are not hospital employees.)   If you're around, stop in.  I'll be at Kaiser Hospital, 2425 Geary Street, San Francisco.  I don't know yet which room or unit.  

I actually had a dream last night that they let me recover in one of our larger conference rooms to have room enough for the party.
