Jay, I would consider testing her milk for bacterial infection, and
probably, assume that there is also some candida (of some sort) in
there.  She may have a bacterial infection, like Staph A, concurrently with
thrush.

I have noticed that sometimes, one might need systemic treatment of some
sort..for a problem as severe as this, and of course, perfecting latch is
crucial. Kathleen
