I had a firefighter who returned her rental pump after weaning her baby, She
claimed after fighting a fire two days in a row, her milk actually smelled
and tasted like smoke. Her baby refused to nurse after that and she decided
to wean rather than work through the strike- largely due to the unpredictable
schedule decribed by Pat L.
