Dear Jack,

CONGRATULATIONS!

I just read the good news that you have opened a breastfeeding clinic at
CCNM. We in the Lactation Community are thrilled. Please let the
administrators at CCNM know that they are admired for being so wise as to
support your work because it makes such a difference for the health of women
and children.

The administrators at North York General Hospital did not realize what they
lost when they decided to close your clinic at their facility. Their
concern was not the health of the women and children in the community, it
was the almighty buck. The healthcare providers at that facility, who gave
you a hard time for years, were probably involved in the closing of the
clinic. They were too ignorant to realize how important your work was and
is, and were probably happy to be rid of you because you were a thorn in
their side. That is their loss.

CCNM stands to gain an enormous amount of healthcare wisdom through your
work, and the community is grateful that your help is still available.

Best wishes,

Lee Galasso, MS, IBCLC, RLC
