Nikki, I agree wholeheartedly.  I am tired of the experimentation on  our 
infant population.  Why is it that the next "scientific breakthrough"  takes 
precedence of breastfeeding.  We still don't have enough of a clue  about what 
lactose-free and lipil formulas will do to our infants as they  age.

Without lactose, calcium absorption is  dampened. I  wonder if we will see 
a spike in osteoporosis in another  10 or 20 years, when a  generation of 
babies fed lactose-free formula  will be old enough to show  it.
