To Linda, re: creative teaching stuff:
A golf ball is about the size of a newborn's stomach 1 week old (50 cc.)
Pop beads can be made into a necklace, interconnected rings, etc. to show the
shaped molecules like lactoferrin, then broken apart to show how the
individual digestable amino acids are used after the molecule is used in the
shaped form. Freezing and boiling destroy the shape of some milk components,
but does little damage to the nutritive parts. (Thanks Martha Brower).
