Dear Everyone,

I've been No Mail for almost a month and I miss you all too much so have come
back!  And I have a question:

I have a mom who has a clotting disorder and a six week totally breastfed
baby.  She's been on Heparin.  Last night she had to go to the emergency room
because she possibly threw a clot and they now have her on 60 mg. of
Enoxaparin twice a day.  The pediatrician told her to pump and dump for the
meanwhile.

We discussed getting his references for not breastfeeding while on this drug.
 I gave her the information in Briggs, Freeman and Yaffe but couldn't find
anything else.  I didn't see anything in Dr. Hale's book or in other drug
information books I have.

If anyone knows of any studies or other information about this drug and its
safety while breastfeeding, please do let me know.
