Do spend the money and buy the HMBANA book on expressing and storing of
human milk. It has lists of references for all to see and critique or
evaluate. Their very existence depends on "good science".
Dare I get a little ornery and say that once again, one is asked to prove
that (normal) human milk in any form is better than (substitute) formula in
any form?

and I have searched the archives, but have been unable to find anything as
specific as I'm looking for (and I don't really have the time to look in
great detail). I have also searched the HMBANA website and found their
position paper.

write a letter of support for the establishment of a milk bank in our
province (for me it's just common sense, however I find it challenging to
eloquently support this with research, something I am working on...).

this discussion we need to be confident that the best evidence ie
systematic reviews, Cochrane reviews and randomized controlled trials are
informing our response. What I also need to include is evidence from
qualitative studies as well? With the emphasis on evidence based practice,
it is important that we are using the best evidence.
