Today I was watching the news and there was an commercial for a "Sleep
Number" mattress. It showed a couple and the woman was pregnant. The guy
said something about his "sympathy' weight gain. The woman laughed, patted
his belly and said "Don't worry, you'll lose it when we start nursing." It
made me smile to see breastfeeding mentioned in such an ordinary and
positive way.

My "Ugh" had to do with a doctor (who herself is breastfeeding or at least
breastmilk feeding currently) - a pedi. She told a Mom who was trying to
wean her 13 month old that she needs to make sure she does it by the time
the baby is 15 months old, or else continued breastfeeding can cause dental
problems. I told Mom that wasn't true, and I guess I need to send this doc
some literature to educate her. Any suggestions?
