Be ever compelled to be the college professor, I must point that humans are
not "quite similar to primates -- Humans ARE primates.

We belong to the zoological Order Primates, along with the prosimians (such
as lemurs and lorises), the monkeys (both Old World and New World monkeys),
the Lesser Apes (gibbons and siamangs) and the Great Apes (gorillas,
chimpanzees, bonobos, and orangutans).

All primates share a number of features in common, including nails instead
of claws on most digits, five-digits on the hands and feet, eyes that face
forward, clavicles, etc. etc. etc.
