Hello everyone,
I have to say that I prefer my moms to breastfeed and smoke if they can't
quit (and being an ex-smoker, I can tell you it is HARD), rather than to
keep ssmoking and quit breastfeeding.  I tell them to try not to smoke
closer than 1 hour to the next session, not smoke around the baby and to try
to cut down.  I also offer them the patch.  I know this isn't the current
dogma, but I think you have to work with smokers.  Nicotine is the most
addicting substance known to woman.  Terry Lynn
