Susan,

Regarding the class with different levels of knowledge, education
etc, I would suggest doing a lot of small group work.  This way the
knowledgable ones can help along the others.  For example, break them
into two or four groups and have them list as many pros & cons of
breastfeeding as they can think of, then have one person from each
group report to the class (at which point you can add your info, or
debunk myths etc).

The only time this method can present problems is with some
individuals  or cultural groups who prefer to learn from an "expert"
and don't value peer knowledge.
