I attended a wound care exhibit today at work and found the representative for
the hydrogel dressings. I told him my interest in the dressings for sore
nipples and he *quietly* confessed his wife used them when she was nursing.
They had a very premature baby who was in the NICU for 4 months. His wife
pumped and nursed for a total of 7 months, with sore nipples the whole time!
Anyway I mentioned some lactation consultants from other parts of the country
were having difficulty finding the hydrogel dressing. I was able to get a toll
free number for the company. They have two offices. The company is Kendall and
the number is 800-962-9888 in Massachuetts, USA and 800-436-3255 in Ontario,
Canada. The product is called CURAGEL hydrogel dressing. It comes in two
different sizes 2x3 and 4x4.
I hope this helps those of you who were having difficulty getting it.
