I was taught in hospital and I still find hand expression more effective than
pumping. My 3 year old loves it. He stands in front of me with a big open
smile and a "squirt-it-right-here-Ma" look on his face. He chuckles delightedly
when I get it in his mouth and giggles hysterically when I miss :) My 9 and 6
year old egg him on and cheer when I score a direct hit!
