I recently received a post that contained a great idea to help dads feel
like they have some control. Have dad be in charge of diapers. Let him
check to make sure that baby is producing enough wet diapers (by blotting
with a tissue in the case of super abosorbant disposables). This gives dad
reassurance that baby is getting enough, gives him some sense of control,
and keeps him in high contact with his new baby, while giving mom a break.
It also provides you with an opportunity to educate dad, reel him in a bit.
