One category of employment that gives nursing moms the most trouble are those who serve the public (as opposed to office workers, or people who work with "things" instead of people).
Most employers I encountered were day care centers, private practice health care offices, and food service / restaurants.
They function at the instant need of their clients / patients and are reluctant to schedule a time when their employee will be "unavailable" for 15 to 20 minutes at a time. Baby needs you, kid needs you, patient comes in without an appt, or they are booked steadily except for lunch time.

Next category is housekeeping staff in hotels. Those moms I talked to have to work from 7am to 2pm with 30 min for lunch and NO break time. Just try to complain. You are replacable by any of a dozen other young, poor moms needing a job now.
