In the interest of making our list more available and approachable, I
have set our listserv parameters to include a limit of three postings
per day per subscriber.

This will encourage us all to form our thoughts well, and make every
word count. Just in case you are wondering if a fourth post is
returned. Many comments I get from people indicate that they love
Lactnet, but cannot deal with the volume. This should help us all
practice to put our thoughts down clearly and a bit more briefly, and
will allow others to feel free to post, generating more widespread
connection and discussion.

One more note. This list is for everyone to use and to participate in.
You do not need to lurk, for fear of exposing ignorance, etc. As my Dad
used to say, No question is dumb if it is sincere.

The way to approach this is to consider your question, check the
archives for what has been said before on that subject *narrowing your
search* to get the most accurate search results. Then you can see what
questions remain that are not answered in the usual breastfeeding
resources, such as the wonderful Breastfeeding Answer Book by our own
Nancy Morhbacher and Julie Stock....Jack Newman MD's and Teresa Pitman's
book, The Coach, etc.

Kindly,

Kathleen
