I have a question a bout a mom with Graves disease.  This mom had a wonderful
supply and no feeding problems.  Taking the usual meds for Graves in the
morning with vitamins at night.  She and baby had become ill.  Baby was not
really wanting to nurse as much and mom had taken Sudafed. It all went bad
the next day after Sudafed.  She has been feeding formula because of the
decrease.  She is now double pumping every 5 hours.  I have tried to get her
to increase the frequency but she is "to busy".  She is not yet sure if she
wants an SNS but, she seems to want the supply back.  She was wondering if it
was the Graves that caused a problem.  Her thyriod levels have been normal
with the meds.
